the week so far

check out the second picture!!!! that's my phone for now hehehee i like it because no one has it??? got this idea from some lifehacks website initially wanted to press the daisy-ish flowers but they gave off pollen when pressed so i just got these baby-breathish things. think they work fine too. hehehe. except that the colours are not as vibrant anymore and the purple in the photo is like some brown/white now. also we tried park on sunday it was so good??? best eggs royale i've tried so far and the sides are good too!!! not a measly salad but potatoes, cherry tomatoes, bacon, sauteed mushrooms too!! the truffle mac and cheese was not bad but it got me gelat(??) after a while so i wouldn't order it alone.
today was a good day despite waking up at 6am. tennis ms in the morning was quite intense because we only won by a margin and it was so so close. good job to the tennis players for fighting till the end even though they were (initially) losing and tired!!
impromptu lunch plans today because we were both kinda free so we decided to go to wherever the train took us to and got out at farrer road to go to the missing pan. crazy us decided to walk from farrer mrt all the way to the missing pan HAHA. we were happily walking when it started to rain at coro so we got kinda stuck. took shelter under the bus stop before running into ntuc to find ponchos but unfortunately they didn't sell. managed to borrow umbrellas from the ntuc aunties hehehe thank God for nice people :) so yes we went to the missing pan!!!! no more smoked salmon though so we shared a pulled pork burger. and we realised we didn't even have enough money i literally had $0 in my wallet oh well. but anyway it was good the missing pan is a nicey place with nice food!!!! still wanna try the eggs royale though. it looks so unique it has 2 chunks of smoked salmon instead of the usual thin slice!!!
anyway instead of taking bus back i decided to walk back to botanics and jon walked with me and then bam another spontaneous decision to explore botanics and find the nice mossy place. ended up walking all around botanics not knowing where we were going but we found some nice places :) didn't take enough photos but i guess it was more important to enjoy the moment than rush to create memories. after all the best memories are those not recorded but vividly remembered. also the fisheye lens kept fogging up because it was so so humid. oh and did i mention we walked into a few cobwebs. ew.
thank God for a friend like jon so blessed to have him in my life :))))))))))))) also i love spontaneous days they are so exciting. overall today is a good day spent well with good company :) though it was horribly unproductive in terms of work piano and exercise the three major commitments in my life now. i promise i will go for a run tomorrow. slap me if i don't.
